Responsibilities of Department:
- Planning Regarding Finances
- Regular review of accrued expenses
- To invest the balance in various accounts as per section 92 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act
- To prepare loan proposals from financial institutions for various projects as per Section 109 of Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act and to repay the loans taken.
- Preparation of administrative report as per section 94 and subsidy report as per section 95(a) of Maharashtra municipal corporation
- Preparation of balance sheet and deposit / debit statement of the corporation as per section 94 of the Municipal Corporation Act
